On the way to a wedding, I saw it on the road and I honestly thought I missed it, until during the reception I went out to the car and saw this colorful thing jammed under the hood. Besides the lost of life, I found this pretty impressive.
Also, cue my 4 yr old daughter asking what happened, to which MrsZtp gives a lesson about how the butterfly didn’t look both ways before crossing the street.

It’s because I’m a underachiever.

I skewered one with my antenna on the interstate this summer. Luckily it fell off before my daughter noticed it. That was a good one on your wife’s part though.

Could be worse; I’ve heard of birds getting sucked in on occasion.
Look it up, or... don’t...

The real question is if I enjoyed it... which I did... so yes.

I told my wife “it’s natural selection.”

Definitely! I’m surprised there are any butterflies left after this.
